Press release: Gothaer Cyber Insurance cooperates with Anqa IT Security (formerly Network Box Germany) in the area of security awareness
Presse release
Gothaer Insurance is expanding its network of service providers in the field of cyber insurance to include IT security specialist Anqa IT-Security (formerly Network Box Deutschland). This means that Gothaer’s business customers now have a new, strong partner for security awareness training.
Cologne-based Anqa IT-Security offers a wide range of services, including e-learning courses on cyber security, password checks, the use of special plug-ins to identify unsafe websites, and special training courses to raise employee awareness of the risks. For business customers who have taken out cyber insurance through Gothaer, the insurer will cover the costs for the first six months, meaning that policyholders can use the measures free of charge for six months as part of their existing insurance cover.
Cybersecurity stands and falls with the expertise of employees. ‘Knowledge transfer and training are a central component of effective cybersecurity in companies. We are delighted to have gained a true specialist in this discipline as a new strong partner in Anqa IT-Security,’ explains Thomas Bischof, CEO of Gothaer Allgemeine AG. ‘Awareness of the risk of cyber attacks on companies has grown significantly in recent times. However, there is often still room for improvement when it comes to how to protect oneself professionally. It is also often unclear what the correct response should be in the event of damage. Thanks to Anqa IT-Security, our customers can now close these knowledge gaps.’ Dariush Ansari, Managing Director of Anqa IT-Security GmbH, adds: ‘Our security awareness training courses enable employees to recognise and anticipate cyber threats and successfully avert them. We achieve this through simulation training for cyber attacks, constantly expanded e-learning modules on current topics, newsletters and tools for measuring progress, among other things.’
With active customer management, Anqa IT-Security not only provides Gothaer policyholders with advice, but also proactively approaches employees who, for example, have not yet completed training modules. Upcoming follow-up measures are also proactively communicated to those responsible within the company so that the topic remains relevant.
This offer applies to policyholders who have taken out their policy under the following two cover applications: commercial and liberal professions up to £10 million, and companies with a turnover of £10–50 million. For all policyholders above this turnover limit and outside the cover applications, there is currently no corresponding option for cost coverage.
