Online course: Digital first aider

Working together for greater cybersecurity: Together with Digitrace, we train IT managers in e-learning to become a digital first aider. The online training course prepares IT professionals to respond correctly in an emergency.

Every security incident is unique and poses major challenges for those affected. IT managers often lack the know-how and experience to respond correctly and in a legally compliant manner when an incident occurs. Even more so than in the physical world, incidents and emergencies catch them at the wrong time – unprepared or even for the first time.

But how should you respond correctly in an emergency? Together with our partner and IT forensics expert Digitrace from Cologne, we train IT managers in this online training course on how to prepare properly for incidents, make a qualified assessment of the incident and either provide first aid themselves or make specific recommendations for action in the event of larger incidents.

The speaker is Martin Wundram, co-founder and managing director of Digitrace GmbH in Cologne. He has been an expert in IT security and IT forensics for many years and, as a penetration tester, checks hospitals, vehicles, production facilities and normal office IT environments for IT security gaps on behalf of system operators.

Course duration: approx. 5.5 hours spread over 6 modules, including a quiz and documentation package, 10 golden rules of digital first aid and a draft guideline for digital first aiders, as well as a meaningful certificate of participation. Costs on request.
