Anqa IT Security cooperates
with Mobiliar

Mobiliar, Switzerland’s oldest private insurance company, will be working with managed security service provider Anqa IT-Security in future. The reason for the cooperation is to integrate security awareness training as a mandatory component of Mobiliar’s cyber insurance policies. The Anqa IT-Security team was selected for its specialised approach: at its Awareness SOC in Cologne, the IT security expert is the only provider to offer a holistically managed model that covers all steps from customer communication and implementation to reporting.

‘A large proportion of successful cyber attacks can be attributed to human error. That’s why we are integrating security awareness training as an integral part of our cyber insurance policies in order to demonstrably increase the security level of our policyholders,’ explains Simon Bernhard Seebeck, Head of the Cyber Risk Competence Centre at Mobiliar.

Dariush Ansari, Managing Director of Anqa IT-Security GmbH, adds: ‘Our security awareness training courses aim to sensitise employees to cyber risks so that they can identify dangers early on and take effective action. To this end, we use phishing simulations, continuously updated e-learning modules, awareness newsletters and tools for measuring learning success, among other things.’

Cyber security awareness training is not only relevant for cyber insurance, but is also mandatory for companies under the GDPR, NIS2 Directive and ISO standards. The training courses help to improve the handling of risks in the area of information security and raise employees’ awareness of their central role in protecting against cyber threats.
